Jakey is the beloved 9 year old Golden Retriever belonging to Timmy Gerald who tragically passed away in a car crash on Saturday. Jakey was in the truck with Timmy and sustained serious injuries.
Jakey survived the crash because of the help of Paramedics, EMTs and Firefighters. Crews were able to stop the bleeding until he was able to be cared for by an Emergency Vet.
Jakey has had one surgery and is very well today. He is up and walking around and has been able to eat his first meal since the crash.
The vets are saying his medical bills will be at least $5,000.00
Jakey was Timmy’s best friend…his life…his everything. He will be staying with family, and we want to give Jakey the best life he possibly can have.
After Jakey’s vet bills are taken care of, whatever money is left over from the donations will be given to York Ambulance Association and the Port City Veterinary Referral Hospital for their unbelievable support for Jakey.Help Jakey!
